FMIOTW: Michigan cherries!

While in Michigan this past weekend, I picked, and simultaneously ate, Cavalier and Rainier cherries. So yummy, especially warm and gooey! While there are 101. ways to use cherries in cooking, I chose to make a red wine, cherry sauce with sauteed mushrooms to top grilled steaks. It was simple, fresh and tasty.

Advice: eat five off every tree. done.
