Mongkok Wet Market (Hong Kong)

SO MUCH FUN. I can’t wait to go back to the wet market and ask for a live chicken to be butchered and a live fish to be filleted. I know, that’s kind of morbid, but it doesn’t get more fresh!

There were many new sights and smells; hanging meat, bright orange pig intestine, the most enormous carrots I have ever seen.

Meat al fresco

doesn't get bigger than this.

pig's intestines are not naturally bright orange

my fishmonger friends.

I’m loving these adventures from HK. What color are pig’s intestines, normally?

    I believe they are whitish-pink. 🙂
